Lack of Civic Sense-Article-Article writing-writing Skulls- Class 12 English

Question 1:
Last week as you were coming back from school you happened to see a huge plastic bag full of leftovers of food being flung into the middle of the road from a speeding car. You wondered how people can be so devoid of civic sense. Write an article in 125-150 words on why we lack civic sense and how civic sense can be inculcated in children at a very young age. You are Shiva/Shamini.

Last week, while coming back from school, I saw that someone threw a bag full of food leftovers onto the road from his fast-moving car! It made me think: Why do some people not care about keeping things clean?

I believe one reason is that not everyone learns about civic sense when they are young. Some people might not know how important it is to take care of public spaces. To fix this, we need to teach kids about civic sense early on. Parents and teachers can show children how to throw garbage in bins, not on the road. They can explain why it's crucial to keep our surroundings clean. Schools can even have fun activities to make learning about civic sense exciting. By teaching these values from a young age, we can grow up to be responsible citizens who care about our community and keep it clean.

Students and Sanskaras: Nurturing Values for a Brighter Tomorrow-A Speech

Title: Students and Sanskaras: Nurturing Values for a Brighter Tomorrow

Respected educators, parents, and dear students,

Today, I am honoured to address a topic that is at the heart of our educational system: the role of sanskaras (values and moral principles) in shaping the character of students. The values we instill in our youth play a pivotal
पिवटल role in not only their individual growth but also in building a brighter and more compassionate society.

Let me discuss the Significance of Sanskaras:

Sanskaras are the moral, ethical, and cultural values that guide our actions, decisions, and interactions with others. They are the foundation upon which we build our lives and the compass that points us toward a virtuous path.

Students are like sponges, absorbing knowledge, experiences, and values from their surroundings. In the formative years of their education, the ‘sanskaras’ they receive will significantly influence their character and behaviour as adults.

The values instilled in students have far-reaching consequences. When they carry forward positive sanskaras, they contribute to a harmonious, compassionate, and progressive society. Conversely (On the other hand), if values are neglected or negative, it can lead to ethical dilemmas
डिलेमाज़ and social conflicts.

Education is not merely about textbooks and examinations. It's about nurturing well-rounded individuals who understand the importance of empathy (compassion), respect, integrity, and responsibility. These values are not only essential for personal growth but are also the foundation of strong, cohesive communities.

As educators and parents, it's their responsibility to instill values in students, both by example and through direct teaching. Here's how this can be achieved:
The values they wish to impart must first be embodied in their own lives. Children observe and learn from the behaviour of adults. Thus, they must practice the values they preach.

Schools and educational institutions should weave value-based education into their curriculum. It's not just about teaching subjects but also teaching life skills and ethics.

Create an environment where students feel comfortable discussing values, ethics, and moral dilemmas. Open discussions allow them to develop their own understanding and make ethical choices.

Embrace and celebrate diversity in all its forms. Encourage students to respect and appreciate the differences among individuals, cultures, and perspectives.

Encourage students to engage in community service and social activities. These experiences often help them realize the importance of compassion, empathy, and helping others.

To build a society rooted in sanskaras, we must recognize that it's a collective effort. It requires the collaboration of educators, parents, and the broader community. In this journey, we must:

· Promote social awareness and civic responsibility.
· Foster a culture of tolerance and acceptance.
· Encourage critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and self-reflection.
· Provide opportunities for mentorship
मिनटोरशिप  and positive role models.

In conclusion, students and sanskaras are inseparable elements in the educational process. The values we instill in our youth are not just essential for their personal development but also for the progress and harmony of society as a whole. Let’s hope the parents and the whole education community dedicate themselves to nurturing a generation of students who not only excel academically but also possess the ethical foundation and values to become responsible and compassionate citizens. This is the path to a brighter, more harmonious future. Thank you.

Facebook Versus Real-Life Friends: A Complex Comparison

For the Motion: Facebook Friends Are Valuable in the Modern WorldIn today's interconnected world, Facebook friends play a significant role in our lives. While real-life friendships are undeniably important, let's explore why Facebook friends have their own unique value

1. Global Connectivity: One of the greatest strengths of Facebook friendships is their ability to transcend geographical boundaries. Through this platform, we can connect with people from different cultures, backgrounds, and countries. This global perspective enriches our lives, broadens our horizons, and fosters a greater understanding of diversity.

2. Convenience: Life can get busy, and it's not always possible to maintain regular contact with real-life friends. Facebook offers the convenience of staying in touch effortlessly. You can share updates, photos, and messages at your convenience, ensuring that you don't lose touch with friends even when life gets hectic.

3. Reconnection: Facebook has a remarkable capacity for rekindling old friendships. Many people have experienced the joy of reconnecting with childhood friends, schoolmates, or long-lost relatives through the platform. These rekindled connections can bring back cherished memories and create new opportunities for shared experiences.

4. Support and Solidarity: Facebook can be a source of emotional support during difficult times. Sharing personal struggles, achievements, or challenges can lead to an outpouring of encouragement, advice, and solidarity from friends, both real and virtual. This sense of community can be incredibly reassuring in times of need.

5. Networking Opportunities: In our increasingly digital world, networking has become essential for personal and professional growth. Facebook provides a platform to connect with colleagues, mentors, and industry peers, enabling us to learn from each other, share knowledge, and explore new opportunities.

Against the Motion:

Real-Life Friends Are IrreplaceableWhile Facebook friends have their merits, they can never fully replace the deep and meaningful connections we form with real-life friends. Let's delve into the reasons why real-life friendships remain unparalleled.

1. Authenticity and Trust: Real-life friendships are built on authentic interactions, trust, and shared experiences. Face-to-face communication allows for genuine emotional connection, making it easier to understand and empathize with each other. Trust is harder to establish online, where anonymity and misinterpretations are common

2. Emotional Support: In times of crisis, real-life friends offer immediate and tangible support. A comforting hug, a listening ear, or a helping hand can't be replicated through a screen. Real-life friends provide a physical presence that is invaluable during life's challenges.

3. Shared Experiences: True friendships are often forged through shared experiences, whether it's celebrating achievements, traveling together, or navigating through tough times. These shared memories create a bond that goes beyond online interactions.

4. Physical Well-Being: Spending time with real-life friends can have positive effects on our physical well-being. It encourages us to be more active, go out, and engage in social activities, reducing feelings of isolation and contributing to a healthier lifestyle.

5. Depth of Connection: Real-life friendships typically involve a smaller, more intimate circle of people. This allows for deeper, more meaningful relationships where you can be your true self without the filters of online personas.

Conclusion: Balancing the Two WorldsIn the debate of Facebook friends versus real-life friends, it's crucial to recognize that both have their own unique values and serve different purposes in our lives. It's not about choosing one over the other but finding a balance that enhances our overall well-being.

1. Prioritizing Real-Life Friendships: We should prioritize nurturing and maintaining real-life friendships because they provide essential emotional support, authenticity, and meaningful connections. These bonds are the foundation of our social and emotional well-being.

2. Leveraging Facebook Friends: Facebook friends, while not a substitute for real-life relationships, offer opportunities for global connectivity, networking, and rekindling old connections. We should use this platform wisely to enrich our lives, gain new perspectives, and stay connected with a broader network.

Ultimately, the debate between Facebook friends and real-life friends should not be a competition but a recognition of the complementary roles they play in our lives. Embracing both worlds allows us to enjoy the best of both, fostering a balanced and fulfilling social life in the digital age.
