Subject: Request for deployment of traffic police personnel near our school

Respected Sir,

I am writing this letter as the Student Pupil Leader of St. Joseph’s School, 4 Chaman Road, Old City Area, Karnal. Our school is located on a busy road, and during school opening and closing hours, there is heavy traffic congestion in the area.

Due to the rush of vehicles, students face great difficulty while crossing the road. There is also a risk of accidents, as many drivers do not follow traffic rules during peak hours. The presence of traffic police personnel near the school would help in regulating traffic and ensuring the safety of students, parents, and teachers.

I kindly request you to deploy traffic police personnel outside and near our school during peak hours. This step will greatly help in maintaining discipline and preventing accidents.

Thanking you.

Yours obediently,

[Name]

Student Pupil Leader

How TV Can Be Used as a Tool for Education

How TV Can Be Used as a Tool for Education

Television is often considered a source of entertainment, but it can also be a powerful tool for education. Educational channels such as Discovery, National Geographic, and Doordarshan’s educational programmes provide valuable knowledge in an interesting way. Through documentaries, science shows, and history programmes, students can understand complex topics with the help of visuals and real-life examples.

TV-based learning makes education enjoyable and easy to remember. During situations like the COVID-19 pandemic, television played an important role by broadcasting online classes for students who had limited access to the internet. Language learning programmes, quiz shows, and career guidance sessions also help students improve their skills and awareness.

However, television should be used wisely. By selecting informative programmes and limiting screen time, students can turn TV into an effective learning aid. Thus, when used properly, television can support classroom learning and enhance overall education.
