A Visit to a Vegetable Market
In India, vegetable markets are often
crowded places. Sometimes, these markets create traffic problems. Last Sunday,
I had to go to the vegetable market in our town. It is situated in the middle
of the city. There was a big rush of vehicles moving through it. It was
very difficult to pass through from there. A big rush of men, women, and children
was present there. Women were bargaining with the vendors to save money. I saw
vendors calling loudly the names of the vegetables. Some stray animals were
also moving about here and there in the market. After purchasing some
vegetables, I came back home.
