In India, vegetable markets are often crowded places. Sometimes, these markets create traffic problems. Last Sunday, I had to go to the vegetable market in our town. It is situated in the middle of the city. There was a big rush of vehicles moving through it. It was very difficult to pass through from there. A big rush of men, women, and children was present there. Women were bargaining with the vendors to save money. I saw vendors calling loudly the names of the vegetables. Some stray animals were also moving about here and there in the market. After purchasing some vegetables, I came back home.

One may see temples in India almost in every locality. This shows people’s deep faith in God. I visit the temple of my locality on Sundays. It gives me extra energy and peace of mind. You may see idols of gods and goddesses there. I worship all of them. I offer flowers to them. After that, I come out of the temple. I buy some ‘prashad’ from a vender while coming back home.  I sit in front of the idol of ‘Hanuman ji’ for a few minutes. It gives me strength and new energy.

International trade fairs are very useful and informative for all of us. In our country, an International Trade Fair is organized every year in Pragati Maidan every year. Many countries take part in it. They set up their stalls to display their mechanical progress in the field of industry and technology. They also set up stalls to make the visitors acquainted with their culture. Last year, I had a chance to visit the international trade fair held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. I went from one place to the other to visit all the stalls. Japan’s and South Korea’s stalls were very attractive. The latest electronic devices were displayed in them. The cultural show organized by several countries was entertaining and educative. The Garba and the ‘giddha’ dances were the most attractive shows in the Indian Pandaal. India’s exhibition of “nano’ cars was also the centre of attraction for foreigners. My to the international trade fair was really very informative and educative to me.

Our days begin with the chattering of monkeys in our area. We find monkeys sitting on the roofs of our houses. When they find the chance, they come down to the courtyard. They pick up whatever they find there. They run away with clothes, utensils, and eatables. The women and children of our families are under terror. They cannot move outside the house with anything in their hands. The monkeys have started even attacking the children and women of our society.

The authorities are requested to do the needful at once.

Sir, all the residents of our sector live in fear of theft. They cannot sleep properly at night because of the thieves. Almost every day, a theft occurs in our area. At night, we do duty as watchmen. A Train Accident                                     A Report July 10, 2022,  Karnal Last Sunday, a severe accident occurred near Karnal. It was around 2 a.m. The last two bogies of the train were derailed. People from nearby places at once rushed to the place. They did the rescue operation. The injured were sent to nearby hospitals. The officers reached there within 20 minutes. Ten persons were reported to be dead. The cause of the accident is still unknown. Inquiry is going on. By Sujul, Class X

 

पिछले रविवार को करनाल के पास भीषण हादसा हो गया। दोपहर करीब दो बजे ट्रेन के आखिरी दो डिब्बे पटरी से उतर गए। आस-पास के लोग तुरंत मौके पर पहुंचे। उन्होंने रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन किया। घायलों को पास के अस्पतालों में भेजा गया। 20 मिनट के अंदर अधिकारी वहां पहुंच गए। दस लोगों के मारे जाने की खबर है। दुर्घटना का कारण अभी भी अज्ञात है। पूछताछ चल रही है।
