Subject: Pig
Menace
Sir/Madam,
I wish to
draw the kind attention of the authorities concerned and the public in general
to the pig menace spread almost in every town and city.
We all are
well acquainted with PM Modi’s most popular campaign ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Newspapers update about the progress of this ‘Abhiyaan’ from time to time. No
doubt, the people of the country are well-motivated to make it successful by their
efforts.
But, in my
humble opinion, we cannot ignore the problems caused by pigs in town and
cities. They come in a platoon and spread dirt here and there. They feed
themselves on dirty water and the eatables thrown in some empty plots. I know
that some people are still uneducated about the ‘Swachhata Abhiyan. That is
the reason why pigs keep on wandering in the localities. They not only
spread dirt but also diseases through mosquitoes. When a mosquito bites
a pig, it carries a very dangerous virus with it. After that, it bites human
beings and spreads the disease called ‘Japanese encephalitis’. Moreover, pigs
make their surroundings dirty. They should be kept in a pigsty and not be allowed
to wander about here and there.
I hope that
my views would certainly catch the attention of the authorities concerned and
deal with the problem immediately. People are also requested not to throw
eatables here and there.
Regards
Maneesh
