The Annual Day Celebrations in My School

We all rejoice in celebrations whenever they occur in our life. We do not let even a single moment go waste while celebrating any important day or occasion. The Annual Day celebrations in my school bring lots of enjoyment to every student and even teachers of my school. The preparations begin two weeks before the day. The Annual Day of my school was celebrated on May 07 this year. It was really  a gala day for all. The parents sat in the auditorium well before time. The participants were ready to listen to the call of the announcer. The Chief Guest was ushered in to occupy the seat. There was a loud clapping from the audience. The Principal came on the stage and welcomed the chief guest and other invitees. He read out the annual speech also. After that,  a prayer was sung by girls and it was followed by a few entertaining items. The Chief Guest was invited to give away the prizes and deliver a speech. He appreciated the Principal, the staff and the management of school for the progress they made in a very short span of time. He also announced a donation of Rs one lakh for the school. The function ended at 1 p.m. sharp.
