Paragraph-writing for the Middlers: Birds of a Feather Flock Together.

3.  Birds of a feather flock together.
The above proverb also contains deep meaning. It means the birds of the same kind always live together. A feather means species. You might have seen the birds of the same species sitting together. You might not have seen different species of the birds like hawks, pigeons, sparrows, crows, eagles, vultures, etc sitting together. They don’t flock together because they are of different species.
All human beings are of the same species. But the proverb that ‘birds of a feather flock together’ applies in case of men somewhat differently. The people who have same tastes and nature sit together.  The persons of the same nature and tastes make friendship. They remain together.
The people of criminal nature will easily find company with the same type of persons. The vegetarians will like the company of vegetarians and similarly the non-vegetarians. The gamblers will like the company of gamblers. Similarly the thieves will like the company of the thieves.

In school, sober students will like the sober, intelligent will like the company of the intelligent. Thus the proverb is true if we understand it in this context.
