Visit to a Zoo
Visiting
places is always a very good experience. It makes our knowledge updated
about the recent developments and the geographical conditions of various places.
It also entertains us as we have a very jolly good time together with our family, friends,
relatives or colleagues.
I had a
chance to visit the Chhatbir zoo in the month of February last year. The trip was
arranged by our school. We reached the zoo in buses. We all were full of excitement
to see various birds and animals at one place. As we entered it, we saw so many
birds of different species. They looked very beautiful. I had never seen some
of them. We also saw wild animals in separate habitats prepared by the zoo
authorities. Some of these wild animals were: jackals, wolves, monkeys, , elephants, rhinoceroses,
bears, panthers, lions, etc. We also saw small creatures and small animals like lizards, tortoises,
porcupines, mongooses, snakes, etc. All these animals were well looked after
and every care for their food, health and comfort was taken into account. The
zoo is spread in a vast area of about six kilometers. We took a round in three
hours. As we all were tired, our teachers advised us to sit in a lawn and have
some snacks and cold drinks. After relaxing for half an hour, we came out of
the zoo, sat in our buses and reached home at night. It was really a great
experience of all.
